Blog Archive B-School Chart of the Week January 2016 Social Currency Rankings Rankings come in all shapes and sizes, but can any ranking truly capture social cachet? For a different perspective on the value of an MBA, we turn to the  New York Times  society pages, where the editors select and profile promising couples. Each month, we dedicate one B-School Chart of the Week to tallying how alumni from top-ranked business schools are advancing their social currency ranking. Business school graduates love a good winter weddingâ€"if the New York Times wedding announcements are any indication, that is. Twelve MBA weddings were profiled during the month of January in the publication’s Fashion Style section, which highlights the nuptials of a diverse pool of couples. Columbia Business School (CBS) graduates were the most eager MBAs to marry in January, as three of the school’s alumni walked down the aisle. Harvard Business School (HBS), the Kellogg School of Management, and the New York University Stern School of Business each had two alumni profiled.
