Review of Newspaper Articles on a Current Human Rights Issue

Question: Depict about the Review of Newspaper Articles on a Current Human Rights Issue. Answer: Global Relations Human rights are good standards or standards portraying the idea of human behaviors. The rights are unavoidably critical that individuals are qualified for fundamentally, for being people (Malcolm, 2016). Being essential rights, human rights are not removed except if when dependent on constraining conditions. Instances of human rights incorporate opportunity from torment and execution, unlawful detainment and the privilege to life (Jing Min, 2016). The regulation of human rights is affected by the worldwide law, local and worldwide organizations. As of now, there are numerous issues rotating around human rights, the most widely recognized ones being murder, segregation and unlawful preliminaries. Three issues are appeared in the Gangnam murder case article. In an outline, the news story gives an account of a 23-year-old young lady who was executed by a 34-years man (Lee, 2016, May 20). Different contentions rose during the discussion about the issue. Regardless, the suspect started by telling the police that he murdered the lady to vindicate for being put down by the person in question (Lee, 2016, May 20). Clearly, it is accounted for that there are high odds of weakness in the formers proclamation. Initially, the man contended that he carried out the wrongdoing in light of the fact that the casualty was a lady. Other than being intellectually sick, the suspect and the youngster had never met. As per the police, the case ought not be treated as a wrongdoing against ladies on the grounds that the suspect is intellectually sick. Promptly, the police was answered by a therapist saying that the offense is against human right. As indicated by Suh Cheon-Seok, the therapist, dysfunctional behavior frequently results from either political or social condition consequently, by some coincidence, the woman must not have tormented the suspect at all (Lee, 2016, may 20). He went further to contend that presuming that the case in non-sexist because of psychological instability is an off-base thought. In any case, it is worthy that sexist demonstrations are indications of dysfunctional behavior. To help his contention, Suh kept up that if the suspect had not lived in a general public where sexism wins, he could have had other mental impacts as opposed to being put down by ladies (Lee, 2016, may 20). These cases are reply particularly to lawmakers, for example, mental wrongdoing. Because o f a similar issue, Gender Minister contended that numerous examinations ought to be done on the issue before considering it a wrongdoing against ladies. As appeared in the article, there are four significant issues emerging from unmistakable human rights. Obviously, they rotate around right to life, sexual orientation separate, and the privilege to a free and reasonable preliminary and owed procedure of law. Right to life The primary issue under this key human right is murder. Murder isn't worthy under the human rights since it limits ones opportunity to live. Evidently, it has expended the current society. As indicated by Magill, (2015), right to life is a guideline dependent on the conviction that individuals should live calmly with no danger. Specifically, this correct states that an individual ought not be executed by individual person. While relating the Gangnam murder case to one side, the presume damaged the privilege by slaughtering the lady. As appeared in the article, the advancement of the privilege is occurring at a more slow rate. Rather than thinking about the issue as an infringement of essential human right, the police and the priest had an alternate point of view. To them, all gatherings engaged with a case must be heard. In this manner, there was need have examine the issue further. Sexual orientation Discrimination The issue emerging here is the murdering of the lady on account of her sexual orientation, as claimed by the suspect. Legitimately, every individual is qualified for the option to liberated from any type of bias be it on shading, starting point, age, or sexual orientation (POLGAR, 2011). While reacting to his criminal demonstration, the criminal is heard saying that he executed the woman as a result of her sex. Accordingly, this is an immediate maltreatment and disavowal of the privilege of the premise of sex. Clearly, with considerable proof or the rights infringement, the priest, and the police are still delayed to act, because of the need to secure the option to reasonable and fair treatment of the law as entitled by everyone by the human right. The Right to a Free and Fair Trial and Owed Process of the Law The option to reasonable hearing, preliminary, and due law handling is shown in the article by the police, who contends that the suspect ought to be dealt with decently being intellectually sick. Nonetheless, this doesn't show that the police rendered on a specific issue (Resta, 2008). In like manner, the pastor demanded that profound examination ought to be finished in regards to the issue. With everything taken into account, he was attempting to expose the suspect to reasonable preliminary and the fair treatment of the law. References Jing, R., Min, S. (2016). Essay on “Accounting Analysis”

Essay on â€Å"Accounting Analysis† The liquidity of any firm is its capability to meet all of its short term obligations as and when they become due. In general, it is the firms overall solvency and the financial standing that allows it to pay the bills as they are due. Since, the most common reason for financial distress of any firm stems from a poor liquidity position, firms must pay utmost attention to their own liquidity. This is also because; these ratios provide a quick overview regarding the overall position of their cash-flows and even the impending failure of their business. Working Capital Management As an investor, one should pay careful attention to the liquidity position of the business. The working capital ratio has been relatively poor at a negative figure of 0.08 for the years 2007, 2008 and 2009. This indicates that the firm has an increasing number of creditors than stocks and debtors, which mean they also, face an increased risk of facing bad debts resulting from these creditors. The position has improved slightly in the years 2010 and 2011 at -0.07. Although the figure is still negative, but they seem to have recovered some of the owed amount from the creditors. Under working capital we also have the debtor days, which is the number of days within which the Wm Morrison Supermarket repays their debts which stood at only 4.41 days in 2007. This had increase to 5.6 and 6.16 days in 2008 and 2009 respectively, but had fallen to 4.76 in 2010. Again in 2011 the ratio had increased to 5.94. The most disturbing part is that the creditor’s days are at an alarmingly higher rate since the last 5 years; throughout 2007 to 2011. The creditor’s day’s ratio is a useful tool that is used to evaluate the account receivable collection policy of any business organization. In this case, Wm Morrison Supermarket seems to lack a proper policy since, the creditor’s day stood at 43.97 days in 2007 compared to debtor’s day of a mere 4.41 days in 2007. In 2011, the creditor’s days stood at 42.39 days in contrast to debtor’s days of 5.94 days. The situation did not improve much and the decrease in the debtors days in almost negligible. The high level of collection days may indicate extremely poor performance of the collection department of the supermarket. However, in some cases businesses may intentionally increase the credit collection time to fend off competition in the marketplace. The stock inventory days measures the amount of time it takes to convert existing stocks into sales which stood at 11.24 days. The stock inventory days differ from one industry to another, and generally a higher inventory day for a supermarket is not uncommon. So investors should not be concerned much about this. The primary concern for the potential investors in the high level of creditors and also the creditor’s days; which may indicate that the supermarket is failing to collect its due amount diligently. Liquidity and efficiency ratios Maintaining a healthy level of liquidity is extremely crucial for any business. The first ratio used for measuring the liquidity of Wm Morrison Supermarket is the current ratio. The current ratio measure the firm’s relatively amount of current assets and current liabilities. As a general rule the current ratio of 2 is deemed to be more acceptable, however, Wm Morrison supermarket had a current ratio of just 0.41 in 2007. The current ratio had increased slightly in the years 2008 and 2009 at 0.49 and 0.53 percent respectively. However, it fell to 0.51 in 2010 and then increased by a small amount in 2011 at 0.55. Although, in 2011 it has the highest current ration over the past 5 years, it is still underperforming compared to industry standards. The current liability, especially creditors has stayed at an increasingly high rate for the last five years. This high level of creditors is possibly restricting the increase of the current ratio. The quick or acid test ratio shows the liquidity of the firm excluding the stocks. In this case, the standard quick ratio is around 1, but again the quick ratio of the Wm Morrison supermarket is quite low. In the year 2007, the quick ratio of the company stood at around 0.21 only and in 2008 and 2009 it had increased to 0.25 and 0.29 respectively. But in the years 2010 and 2011 is had stayed constant at 0.24. This means that the company is not making significant investments in stocks at well but the number of creditors is increasing constantly over the past 5 years. Investors must be cautious while analyzing the liquidity position. A company that fails to recover its debts in 5 years is exposed to an increased risk of making bad debts which may propel the company into a major liquidity crisis. The company should take immediate steps to recover their debts if they want to avoid a liquidity disaster, which will also fend off good investors. Both the working capital and liquidity and efficiency ratios are vital to scrutinize before making an investment. In the case of Wm Morrison supermarket, the working capital and the liquidity positions are both quite volatile. Both the quick ratio and the current ratios are significantly lower than the acceptable standards. Therefore, investing in Wm Morrison supermarket will be extremely risky for any investor. However, the asset turnover ratio of the company stood at around 1.89 in the year 2007. The asset turnover ratio shows the amount of sales generated by 1 dollar of asset. This ratio has increased steadily over the last five years which is a positive sign. Every dollar worth of asset has generated 2.06 of sales. Apart from this the gross profit and the net profit margin of the company is also increasing. Therefore, the investors may face a tough choice in deciding whether to invest or not. Overall the ratios provided, show poor performance of the Wm Morrison supermarket and investing in their company seems quite risky, but the profit ratios seem to be increasing over the last couple of years.

The nerve conduction study utilizes a computer, computer monitor, a mplifier, loudspeaker, electrical stimulator, and filters. These filters are mathematical filters that can distinguish random, background electrical signals from the signal produced by an activated nerve. When the study is done, small electrodes are placed on the skin over the muscles being tested. Generally, these muscles are located in the arms or legs. Some of the electrodes are designed to record the electrical signal that passes by them. Other electrodes (reference electrodes) are designed to monitor the quality of the signals to make sure that the test is operating properly. If monitoring of the test is not done, then the results obtained are meaningless. After the electrodes are in place, a small electrical current can be applied to the skin. The electrical stimulation is usually done at several points along the nerve, not just at a single point. This is done because conduction of an impulse through a nerve is not uniform. Some regions of a nerve conduct more slowly than other regions. By positioning the stimulating electrodes at several sites, a more accurate overall measurement of conduction velocity is obtained. Counseling and Psychotherapy

Question: Discuss about theCounseling and Psychotherapy. Answer: Introduction: In psychological term, counseling is one of the most prevalent interventions for resolving clients psychological issues. As the process is based on the mental health care and deals with mental health related issues, the counselor or the psychiatrist should have some specific skills, needed for dealing with these kinds of clients. These skills are very important for establishing a good relationship with the client, which is the key step in the counseling therapy. In this assignment, I am going to evaluate my own skills and associated performance, while dealing a client. In addition, before initiating the process, I will assess the background information of the client briefly. It helps to plan the effective way of establishing the therapeutic relationship with the client. Here, the client is facing some money issue, as he has lend a huge amount of money from banks as well as his friends and unable to pay back. Through the counseling, his frustration can be reduced. Initially, I have planned the counseling session by using the checklist of a counseling process. Here, I have planned to limit the first session within 30 minutes. As it is the first session, the aim of the session will be to listen carefully, recognize and understand clients issues. Before that, I need to introduce myself and ask his permission for participating in this counseling session. This is very important step for giving the client value and respect. According to Van Deurzen (2012), the session should follow the basic five stage of a successful counseling process, including empathic relationship, story and strength, goals, restory and action. I have tried to follow these five basic steps in my counseling process with the client. While going through these basic and essential steps of the counseling process, I have applied my skills and expertise to make the process successful. After meeting the client, initially, I greet him and introduced myself to him. It is very important to build a good rapport with the client. Here, I have used my effective communication skills for attending the client. I have demonstrated such essential skills including tracking, monitoring, attentive listening, pacing and empathizing. I have included some essential tools in my counseling process, such as informed consent, self-disclosure, reflecting clients feelings, paraphrasing and using the therapeutic metaphors. In this context, I have reviewed the counseling checklist first, for ensuring that I am not undertaking any wrong step for my client. Initially, after introducing myself, I took my clients consent and then asked him about his issues. I allowed my client to express his views, by cooperating with him through empathic listening. Here, I explored my excellent listening skills. While listening to his issues, I have used paraphrasing skills, for making him feel that I am givin g value to his words. It helps to build his confidence and make him easy to feel free to say, whatever he wants. I revealed that my client is very much depressed about his loss of money and he wants to share his issue with someone, as he feels relaxed, while telling his feelings to someone. The first step of the 5 stage counseling process is the establishment of empathic relationship with the client, for which showing empathy is very important (Manthei, 2012). While listening to my clients issues, I have used the terms, ok, oh! Dear, I see, I am feeling sorry for that, I understand and wow. These words assured the client that I am trying to understand his situation, instead of identifying his faults like others in his community. It helped him to express his further views with more confidence. In this way, he accomplished my views. In the next step, the in-depth story of the client is assessed for identifying the key problem or issue of the client. For identifying clients problem, he should be allowed to talk and appreciated, which I have done accordingly. I have appreciated him by telling such sentences I think you have tried to solve this problem from your own end. I have helped him to understand the reason behind this counseling. This critical thinking skill helped him to be motivated and share his issues more precisely (Feltham Horton, 2012). The next step in the counseling process is setting goal for the client. In this context, I have attempted to explore his strengths for his well being. In this counseling, the clients key issue is his unnecessary spending of money and inability of balancing between spending money and returning the earned money back to the resource. Now, as he has already taken a lot of money from more than one bank as well as his friends, he is not able to return the money back to them. As a result, he has lost his close friends and has been isolated. Now, he wants to share his feelings through this counseling, to feel relax. It has been revealed that, through the tough situation, he has tried to return the money taken from different resources. He did all these for purchasing some necessary equipments including camera, computer and others related equipments for photography, as inspired by his boss. Through my critical thinking skill, I have identified that the client has the willing to recover from hi s depressed status and finding the best solution for his problem. It is one of his major strength. From his story, I also revealed that he has lost some of his good relationship, for his inability to return the money within the promised period, which has enhanced his symptoms of depression. Therefore, the key goal of his treatment is to enhance his self-confidence, which can help him to be socialized again. The next step is restorying and planning intervention for him. Here, I have reviewed the goal set for him and discussed his needs through the counseling process. He has highlighted that, some people might want to help, but as he was not able return the money on time, it harmed their friendship, as his friends lost trust on him. I have tried to highlight his strengths through his words. Such as, when he told that he was being desperate, I highlighted what do you mean by desperate? I tactfully highlighted his strengths, that he can do something good by being desperate sometimes, it is not only bad. It will help the client to enhance his self-esteem. The final step is to take action. Based on the clients history and his background, I have set the next appointment with the client in the next week. In the first session, it is better to strengthen the therapeutic relationship by exploring the clients perception and feeling to build trust (Hbert, Caughy Shuval, 2012). My communication skills helped me a lot in this case. I used the paraphrasing skills for encouraging him. I encouraged him to work in some other company to gather his spent money. Emphasizing on her strength, I encouraged him that he is going on the right track and he can clear all his debts soon. He just has to work hard and think positively. I have planned to encourage him for some different work, other than photography, for avoiding the depressive symptoms related to his previous work. It will help to enhance his willingness of work and to reduce frustration. I have assessed the client during the counseling session through my essential counseling skills. From the beginning of the counseling session, I have used my specific skills to establish a good rapport with my client. I have demonstrated a good listening skill, while interacting with him. I have always shown a smiling face in front of my client, to assure him that I am obliged to meet him and listening his problem precisely. Through my observation skill, I have understood his verbal and nonverbal approaches and replied accordingly. I have shown him empathy by addressing his feelings in each step. However, I think I should talk a little more in my next session with the client. I have evaluated this from my performance as I observed that the client was expecting some solution of his issues from me, rather, he wants me to help him by finding the right solution for his money related issues. The third important skill that I have demonstrated was the genuineness and unconditional positive regard. It helped me to establish a good rapport with the client. I have shown respect and supported his views positively. I have utilized my effective communication skills. Based on the clients situation, I have lowered my voice pitch and interact politely with the client. I have used open questions, which is another important skill of mine that helped me to highlight and prioritize his strengths for planning his intervention (Tolan, 2012). Finally, I understood that in the first session, I have successfully established a positive relationship with my client. I have shown respect and dignity towards the client throughout the process, to build up clients self-confidence. However, before conducting the counseling session for the specific client, I made a plan for the first counseling session with the client and reviewed brief background of the client. Then, I have undergone the five basic steps in the counseling process, while evaluating my own essential skills for the counseling. I have assessed my client through his appearance and the way of interaction. My client experienced initial empowerment for attending the next session of the counseling, for sharing his issues with me. Reference List Feltham, C., Horton, I.
